Well. I’m back from Powerhouse Summer ‘Retreat’. This one has been one of the best, yet a fully taxing experience. Next time you see a Stage Manager - hug them :) they need it!
CAMP= Some tears, a lot of building relationships, some getting lost, some teaching Annie how to play inside church volley ball ( the made up version), some losing things, some feeling dumb, some great hungry God times, some extraordinary - 'I can’t believe I’m here' moments and some throwing things at specific band members (you know who u are!) time.
On the down side..I left my bag & camera at the church with Prink Milk Man's guitar (Sketch you know who this is!!). So unfortunately I can’t post photos!!
Beautiful Brooke said to me after she lost her shoes (she worship lead with out them!) “Ahh well.. they are only material things, Heavenly treasure is so much more important!”. True that is.
I guess the most important thing in the world is what out father thinks. I LOVE God, I don’t ever have to be ashamed of that and I am thankful that His word, His promise and His Spirit are absolute.
Worldly stuff can never satisfy but when God holds our heart, all is well with our soul. For this I am grateful. I am going to go lay down now ‘til my head stops spinning.
